New York

Welcome to Shot of Scotch — NYC!

This is the “original” branch of SoS. Most of us are adult “transplants” to New York City who didn’t want to leave highland dancing behind when we moved here! We are always looking for new members to join in the fun. Our practices are loosely run; many of us are certified dance teachers, so we dance together and give each other tips and tricks to improve our own dancing. Some of us are still active competitors; others are dancing for fun and fitness.

We are available for performances and shows for people who are interested. But all of us are dancing for the pure pleasure that highland dancing brings to our lives. To find out more, or to request performances or dancing instruction, please fill out the form below!
